It was a Fun, FUn, FUN FRIDAY!

What a fun day we had today! It all started with Mommy's homemade applesauce muffins and a banana:). Rachel needed lots of energy for her very first Gymboree Play & Learn Class! We did a "preview" class today to check it out. Oh My Goodness!!!...we had so much FUN...lots of singing, dancing, playing, climbing, sliding, bubbles, peek-a-boo, pat-a-cake, playing with a parachute, crawling through tunnels, etc...we joined! We get to go do it every week now! Rachel met two little boys and a little girl too. They were all around her age as the class included babies from the age of 10 months - 16 months. Frank is joining us on Sunday, so Rachel can show him all the new things she explored! We are previewing a Music Class on June 24th. We might join that one too! Rachel loves music and sings whenever some is playing. Mommy was a little bummed because she forgot to take her camera!!! Next time:). So just some random shots here...

After an hour of "Playing" and "Learning", we went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch then stopped in to do a little exchanging and shopping at Gymboree and The Children's Place. We found something "fun" for Rachel to wear when we go to Disney in 18 days! Yes!!! We booked our Disneyland Vacation today. Yay! We had it booked for the end of May then postponed it because of the Swine Flu scare. Now we can't wait to go! We are also heading over to Laguna Beach one afternoon. We'll see how Rachel does dipping her toes in the cold, Pacific Ocean:). We know she enjoys swimming, so we got a shaded baby raft for the pool at Disney. She and Da-Da are going swimming. Mommy is not much for swimming or swimsuits:), so I will be the designated "picture-taker"...

After our "fun" morning and afternoon at the mall we came home and Rachel napped until Frank got home, then it was off to our favorite sushi restaurant for dinner and Disney "talk". Here are a few pictures of Rachel "caught in the act"...the "act" of walking that is! We will try to post some video soon...she's choosing walking over crawling more and more. It's "fun" to see her getting braver and braver..
