Waiting for Daddy to come home...

Here is a little of what Rachel did on Friday as she waited for her Da-Da to come home. I do not have photographs of all activities...playing with bubbles, climbing up and down the stairs, spinning all the toilet paper off the roll because Mommy forgot to close the door, helping Mommy put the laundry into the washing machine, doing walking and crawling laps around the great room/kitchen/living room and dining room (no wonder she's a great napper!), unloading the kitchen and bathroom drawers all over the floor and then helping to clean them up to the tune of "Clean up, clean up, everybody, everywhere...", and bringing Mommy an endless number of books throughout the day to read and reread...whew...no wonder Mommy was exhausted when Daddy got home:)...

Getting ready to take a nap...one that lasted for almost 4 hours! Mommy got a little nervous but remembered what a busy day we had yesterday...yes, she threw Teddy Bear out of the crib!
Our girl loves to sleep...even looks happy about it...
This face makes me laugh...not sure what she was doing...looks like maybe just tolerating the camera:)...
After dinner, she sat and read book...
after book...
after book...
and then some more...then brought a few for me to read aloud...
She played with her new ball...Sheena was not really into it...
Then a little handheld Solitaire! (I think she was just into the sound effects:)) We also "play" a little "52 card hand-off" at least once a day as she unloads everything out of the little game drawer I have in the coffee table...decks of cards and small handheld games that have wonderful sound effects!
And finally...a little sitting by the door..."He is coming, isn't he?!"
