After dinner tonight, Rachel and I played with some toys and read some books outside at her new picnic table! I wanted to see how long she would sit at it before using it for snacks or meals. She loved it! She just sat there grinning at me:). Of course, I had the digital camera and video camera on the blanket with me...just waiting for her to do something cute:). Well, it's all cute:). Tomorrow we'll try eating out there if the weather stays warm. It was so beautiful out there earlier this evening before the wind kicked up. So much nicer than inside the house! Hope you enjoy the pics...
I thought it was so cute how she pulled both her feet up on the seat almost sitting cross-legged. I always sit like that at picnic tables because I am "afraid" to have my feet down underneath where something could crawl up my leg! Yep, I have a few phobias:)...maybe more than a few:)...

loved by me...

I am loved by thee."

I once thought I'd never get the chance to be a Mommy. Now I hear those precious words every day. It sounds more like "Mom-Mom" but precious nonetheless. I am a "stay at home" Mommy who is enjoying every moment of parenthood. I may be a bit more tired and disorganized than I used to be, but it is definitely worth it. That all seems so unimportant every time I hear my daughter's giggle and see her beautiful smile.
The journey to building our family was a long one...and after many years of disappointments, loss and indescribable sadness...we are a fab little fam of four. Our beautiful baby girl fills our hearts with a love that is unlike any other, lights up our every day, and makes us very proud to be her Mommy & Daddy. We feel so blessed with this gift...our daughter.
It is quite the adventure! Rachel and her doggy, Sheena, keep this Mommy and Daddy very busy...and very happy!
